EBV PCR kit
Background Information
Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) is a widespread member of the herpesvirus family and is one of the most common viruses found in humans worldwide. Most people become infected with EBV at some point in their lives, typically developing long-lasting adaptive immunity. Infection often occurs in childhood, usually without noticeable symptoms, while infections during adolescence frequently result in mononucleosis. EBV is also associated with various immune-related conditions and certain lymphoid cell growth abnormalities.
